Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Reached AT&T

Rumors about a waterproof version of the Galaxy S4 arrived last month, with this handset supposedly set to launch as the GS4 Active. It seemed a little odd for a model like that not to be announced alongside its namesake, but further rumors seemed to support the idea that this phone was very real, with a leak claiming a European release date of July 15. Evidence of the GS4 Active continues to pile-up, and today the phone’s supposed model number for AT&T has leaked.

According to tipster superstar evleaks, the GS4 Active will be coming to AT&T as model SGH-I537. The original GS4 on AT&T is model SGH-I337, for the sake of comparison. We’ve also seen model GT-I9295 suggested for the international version, versus GT-I9500 or GT-I9505 for the GS4 itself.
Unfortunately, a render of the phone has yet to leak, so we don’t know if the metallic orange color rumored for the international GS4 Active will similarly be coming to AT&T. If this July launch info is accurate, we could expect to see a whole lot more info on the Active start arriving as we move into June.
